To measure the draft of the chimney flue, follow the procedure below where the draft will be measured using the testo 510 instrument:
• Remove the side panel of the stove to access the smoke spiral. Disconnect the tube from the pressure switch.
• Connect the instrument to the positive port. Position it so that it remains vertical and steady throughout the entire measurement phase.
• Keep the front door of the combustion chamber and the pellet door of the boiler closed, press the power button on the instrument, and zero it before taking the reading.
• Take a draft measurement in Pascals with the stove off and on (in Normal mode).
Measurement results:
• If the value with the stove off is less than or equal to 0, the chimney flue has draft.
• If the measured value is negative (-), the flue has no draft.
• If with the stove on (in Normal mode) the measured value continues to be negative (-), there is insufficient draft.
• If the value reaches 60 Pa, the stove (once the tube is reconnected to the pressure switch) will show error SIC02/ER02.
