SIC25

Message displayed on the remote control: CLEANER FAILURE or GRATE LOCK CLEAN AND TURN ON

SIC25 is the shutdown due to a fault in the grate cleaning system (for Clean models)

Operations to perform:

At the mechanical level

• Clear the error and check if there are no foreign objects obstructing the movement of the grate base during the automatic cleaning phase. Also verify that the system moves correctly and that there are no misalignments.

At the electrical level
• Check the operation of the microswitch that controls the gearmotor rotations.
Verify:
- The wiring of the microswitch (it must be connected to fastons 11 and 14). 
- Continuity using a tester. 
- That the microswitch is pressed correctly during the entire rotation of the wheel. If the microswitch is released even partially during movement, the rotation count may not be detected correctly, causing the SIC25 error.
- Replace it in case of malfunction.
• Check the correct operation of the gearmotor through System Menu / OUTPUT TEST (During the output test, it is necessary to hold down the door microswitch; otherwise, the test will not start). Replace it in case of malfunction.

 

Parameters

If the grate cleaning system works correctly but, during the braking phase, the gearmotor fails to stop the wheel after the two expected rotations, causing an additional unwanted rotation, it is possible to adjust parameter 55 CLEANER DELAY in the Various Settings menu.

It is recommended to reduce the value by 0.2–0.3 seconds to anticipate the gearmotor braking and properly stop the rotation.

If parameter 55 CLEANER DELAY is not present, it means that the control unit uses an outdated firmware that requires an update. All Aria stove firmwares are available for download in the reserved area Boutique/Service Centers, within the "Programs" section.
