The two-component system is composed of two separate substances that, once mixed, chemically react to form a solid, hard, or durable material. It is used to glue brackets to aesthetic glass.
Component A – Usually the base: a resin, a paint, an adhesive, (50%)
Component B – The activator, catalyst, or hardener: used to trigger the chemical reaction. (50%)
Procedure to follow:
Thoroughly mix the two components until you obtain a homogeneous compound that is slightly warm to the touch, a sign of chemical activation.
Apply the two-component system exactly where you want to fix the bracket, then place the bracket pressing it lightly to ensure proper adhesion.
Wait for the complete hardening of the material before stressing the bracket: only once hardened will the fixing be stable and final.
