ER48

The error ER48 is the shutdown due to the failed speed adjustment of the auger encoder.

The possible causes are:

- Auger rotations too high (The control unit cannot regulate the number of auger rotations)

The error occurs when the control unit does not read the correct rotation speed it sends to the auger, this can happen in the presence of:

• Power surges.
• The auger does not support, therefore does not reach, the speed set by the control unit.
• The control unit's encoder cannot regulate the auger's speed.

- Faulty auger or faulty control unit

• Set parameter P81 = 3 in the “System Menu / Auger”.
• Clear the error and restart the stove, check the auger rotation speed in the “User Menu / Service / Secondary Information”, if the rotation speed is unstable, it is likely that the auger and/or the control unit are faulty and need to be replaced.
