The error ER44 is the shutdown triggered by the microswitch when the front door or the pellet door remains open for more than 120 seconds.
Actions to take:
- Clear the error and check that the front door and the pellet hopper door close properly, ensuring that they activate their respective microswitches.
- If necessary, adjust the position of the microswitch, bringing it as close as possible to the door, to prevent any thermal expansion during operation from preventing proper closing and the consequent contact of the microswitch.
- If the error persists, check the wiring (The contact is normally closed; the door microswitch must be connected to fastons 11 and 14). Replace the microswitch in case of malfunction after proper testing with a tester or via the Service menu, in the Secondary Information section, checking the IN3 value. If the microswitch works correctly, the value will change from 0 to 1 (and vice versa) when pressed and released.
