The error ER03 is the shutdown due to low flue gas temperature. If the flue gas temperature falls below the value set in parameter Th35 - Th39 (powers 1 - 5) and Th43 (modulation), then the stove will go into ER03.
The possible causes are:
- Pellets run out
- Auger jammed and/or auger motor faulty
Before turning on the stove, activate the "Loading" function in the user menu or via output test in the system menu, to check the proper operation of the auger and the motor.
- Incorrect fuel mixture
If the motor runs correctly and the hopper is full of pellets, the error may simply be due to an insufficient amount of fuel and an excess of combustion air, so the pellet and air mixture should simply be adjusted via the "Calibration" option.
- Faulty flue gas thermocouple
After checking the wiring, check if the flue gas thermocouple located in the cast iron snail at the flue gas outlet is dirty or incorrectly positioned, by reading the flue gas temperature in the "Displays" menu. Replace the flue gas thermocouple in case of malfunction.
