The error ER10 is the shutdown due to too high system pressure. The error occurs when the water pressure inside the heating system exceeds the maximum threshold of 2500 mbar.
Possible causes are:
- Too much pressure in the system
Check the pressure value read in the "Information" section of the user menu (Check the wiring at terminals 43,44,45).
Release pressure from the system if necessary (from a radiator for example), until reaching a pressure between 800 and 1000 mbar (ideal pressure).
- Faulty pressure transducer
Verify with an external manometer that the pressure detected matches that read by the transducer. In case of a significant discrepancy, proceed with replacing the transducer.
If the error reoccurs after releasing pressure from the system then it is possible that the pressure transducer is faulty. Replace if malfunctioning.
If the error occurs during operation in "Normal" mode or on new installations, check the expansion vessel and consider if it is necessary to add an additional expansion vessel to the heating system.
To temporarily disable the pressure sensor in Aqua stoves, it is necessary to access the system menu, Settings, and change parameter A14 from 1 (default setting) to 0.
WARNING: the responsibility for any damage to the stove lies with the technician who disabled this safety feature. Moretti Design declines all responsibility for problems caused by third-party interventions.
