The error ER05 is the shutdown due to high flue gas temperature. If the flue gas temperature exceeds the value of parameter Th08, the stove will go into ER05.
The possible causes are:
- Dirty stove
Clear the error and restart the stove; if the error reoccurs, the stove likely requires a general extraordinary cleaning/maintenance intervention. Check that all parts of the stove are properly cleaned, with particular attention to the burner head.
- Excessive draft
Check the chimney draft and monitor the flue fan speed in secondary information within the user menu service. If the RPMs are too high, a significant portion of the heat is lost through the chimney, thus reducing the stove's efficiency and triggering the error. Lower the value of "FCS" or "Fan Calibration" (if FCS is not enabled) within the service, and/or reduce the chimney draft if necessary.
- Faulty flue thermocouple
If the flue gas temperature detected is high even during the shutdown phase and the brazier is warm, it is likely that the flue thermocouple is faulty. Replace the flue thermocouple in case of malfunction.
