Using and Updating the Bootloader

The Bootloader is the tool used to program the control unit of Aria stoves.

Below are the steps to program the control unit:

1. Turn off the power to the stove or control unit.

2. Connect the Bootloader using the supplied serial cable to the SERIAL port of the control unit.

3. Select the firmware in the Bootloader by pulling one of the pins low.

4. Restore power to the stove or control unit and wait for the Bootloader's green light to stay steady.

5. Disconnect the Bootloader from the control unit.

After loading the firmware via the Bootloader, it is necessary to load the correct database.

To do this, follow these steps:

1. Access the system menu by entering the password M0.

2. Select the DATABASE option.

3. Choose the correct database from the available values, from O1 to O9 (the letter O, not the number zero).

The firmware to be loaded into the Bootloader can be downloaded by accessing the reserved area of the MorettiDesign website (https://morettidesign.it/area-riservata-accesso/) by entering the "area riservata boutique/cat" section using the following credentials:

Username: moretti-design
Password: boutique-cat

Inside the reserved area, in the "PROGRAMS" section, by downloading the file "MORETTI ARIA Micronova", you will have all the Micronova firmware. In the "VIDEOS" section, you will find tutorial videos on how to use and update the Bootloader.
