COMBUSTION AND ADJUSTMENT
Combustion is a chemical reaction in which a fuel (pellet) and an oxidizer (air), through an ignition (electric resistance), combine to produce heat.
For combustion to occur correctly, fuel and air must be present in the right proportions.
It is recommended to use exclusively wood pellets with a diameter of 6 mm and a maximum length of 30 mm.
CALIBRATION
Note:
- In models equipped with the FCS system, it is possible to adjust the automatic combustion correction range through the FCS parameter.
- In models without FCS, combustion can be manually adjusted through the Screw Feeder Calibration and Smoke Fan Calibration functions.
🔴 NON-optimal Combustion
Symptoms:
- High and weak flame
- Orange color
- High amount of unburned pellet in the brazier
Models with FCS
- Check the proper closing of the door and the sealing of the gaskets.
- Increase the FCS setting one point at a time (from 0 to +5) until the optimal condition is reached.
Models without FCS (manual adjustment)
- Check the proper closing of the door and the sealing of the gaskets.
- Increase the Smoke Fan Calibration one point at a time (from 0 to +7).
- If necessary, decrease the Screw Feeder Calibration one point at a time (from 0 to -7) until the optimal condition is reached.
🔴 NON-optimal Combustion
Symptoms:
- Flame too “drawn out”
- High amount of glowing pellet coming out of the brazier
Models with FCS
- Decrease the FCS setting one point at a time (from 0 to -5) until the optimal condition is reached.
Models without FCS (manual adjustment)
- Decrease the Smoke Fan Calibration one point at a time (from 0 to -7).
- If necessary, increase the Screw Feeder Calibration one point at a time (from 0 to +7) until the optimal condition is reached.
🟢 OPTIMAL Combustion
Characteristics:
- Lively flame
- Yellow/white color
- Minimal amount of pellet in the brazier
In this case it is not necessary to modify any parameter in the Calibration menu.
⚠️ Attention
Any creaking noises emitted by the product do not indicate a defect, but are due to the normal thermal expansion of the materials.
