1. PSYSI04000005 Remote Control
Compatible exclusively with PSYSS04000003 (NG21) control units
With the new firmware installed on the PSYSS04000003 (NG21) control unit — downloadable from the Moretti Design Reserved Area (https://morettidesign.it/en/area-riservata-accesso/) — the ambient temperature detection function via remote control is disabled by default.
As a result, the remote control does not perform ambient temperature reading for the purpose of machine modulation.
Verification path
User Menu → Settings → Radio Thermostat → default setting: OFF
Case with previous firmware versions installed in the control unit
With older firmware versions, even when disabling the radio thermostat from the remote control, the stove continues to regulate operation based on the set temperature.
Solution
- Update the control unit to the latest available firmware version (downloadable from the Moretti Design Reserved Area: https://morettidesign.it/en/area-riservata-accesso/).
- Alternatively (or if necessary), configure one of the following inputs as an output for ambient temperature detection (“ambient probe”), setting the parameter to value 15:
- IN10 → P73 = 15
- IN11 → P74 = 15
- IN12 → P83 = 15
- IN13 → P84 = 15
Setting one of the above parameters (e.g., IN10 – P73 = 15) enables the activation of a virtual ambient probe.
Then, proceed to deactivate the radio thermostat from the remote control by following the path:
User Menu → Settings → Radio Thermostat → OFF
2. MFRSYS19 Remote Control (PSYSI02000019)
Compatible exclusively with PSYSL01000263 (MB250) control units
By deactivating the radio thermostat from the remote control, the ambient temperature detection function is excluded.
Correct deactivation is confirmed by the absence of the “thermometer” symbol in the upper right part of the remote control display.
