Description:
Hydraulic configuration number 2 consists of the Aqua stove connected to a boiler via a three-way valve, as well as heating terminals.
To activate this configuration, it is necessary to modify specific parameters on the control unit and correctly connect sensors and the three-way valve.
Control Unit Parameters
| Parameter | Value | Function |
|---|---|---|
| P26 | 2 | Select hydraulic configuration 2 |
| P83 | 31 | Enable the DHW sensor “S3” for stoves/boilers |
| Ih79 | 2 °C | DHW Sensor thermostat hysteresis (the hysteresis that must be subtracted from the DHW thermostat so as to request the boiler to restart if it is on standby) |
Operational notes:
P26= 2 Select hydraulic configuration 2
P83= 31 Enable the DHW sensor “S3” for stoves/boilers
Ih79= 2 °C DHW Sensor thermostat hysteresis (the hysteresis that must be subtracted from the DHW thermostat so as to request the boiler to restart if it is on standby)

Room Thermostat (R.T.) Configuration
Main parameters:
| Parameter | Value | Function |
|---|---|---|
| P99 | 1 (default) | Room Thermostat in standard mode (N.O., normally open) |
| P99 | 0 | Invert the R.T. contact from N.O. to N.C. (normally closed) |
| A01 | 1 (default) | Operating state: Normal → Modulation |
| A01 | 2 | Operating state: Normal → Stand-by |
| A01 | 4 | Operating state: Normal → Stand-by + Pump Block |
| A01 | 0 / 3 | Not recommended: On/Off or Pump Block |
| T45 | 1 | Enable the Room Thermostat function |
Operational notes:
- The parameter P99 defines the logic of the thermostat contact (N.O. or N.C.).
P99 = 1 (default) Room Thermostat in standard mode (N.O., normally open)
P99= 0 Invert the R.T. contact from N.O. to N.C. (normally closed)
- The parameter A01 defines the control unit behavior with respect to the R.T., with options for modulation, stand-by, or pump block.
A01=0 Not recommended: On/Off
A01=1 (default) Operating state: Normal → Modulation
A01=2 Operating state: Normal → Stand-by
A01=3 Not recommended: Pump Block
A01=4 Operating state: Normal → Stand-by + Pump Block
Warning: use only the recommended settings; values A01 = 0 or 3 can cause malfunctions or pump blocks.
- The parameter T45 must be set to 1 to properly activate the R.T. function.
T45= 1 Enable the Room Thermostat function
Example:
Thermostat Parameters

|---|---|---|
| Anti-freeze | Th18 | 5 °C |
| Pump Activation | Th19 | 53 °C |
| Sanitary 1 | Th20 | 50 °C |
| Sanitary 2 | Th21 | 72 °C |

Operating Logic
Heating
- Pump P1 activation
Pump P1 activates when all the following conditions are met:- Boiler temperature Tboiler ≥ Th20 (50 °C)
- Boiler temperature Tboiler ≤ Th79 (55 °C)
- Difference between boiler sensor (S) and DHW sensor (S3) [Tboiler − TDHW] ≥ Th57 (8 °C)
- Additional condition
Pump P1 also activates if:- Tboiler ≥ Th19 (53 °C)
- Anti-freeze protection
- Pump P1 activates if Tboiler ≤ Th18 (5 °C)
- Overtemperature safety
- Pump P1 remains active if Tboiler ≥ Th21 (72 °C)
Sanitary
- Three-way valve (P2) switching towards sanitary boiler
The three-way valve switches towards the boiler when:- Tboiler ≤ Th79 (55 °C)
- Tboiler ≥ Th20 (50 °C)
- Boiler overtemperature safety
- The three-way valve switches towards the system if Tboiler ≥ Th21 (72 °C)
