The REMOTE AIR technology is an optional system designed to improve the ducting of hot air produced by pellet stoves and inserts.
It allows you to:
- move the ventilation away from the main unit, reducing noise at the installation point;
- distribute hot air up to 8–15 meters away through one or two independent outlets;
- install the ducts even after the stove purchase;
- hide the power cables, improving aesthetics and simplifying installation;
- optimize the thermal efficiency of the ducting by adjusting the front air distributor (opening, lowering, or complete closure).
The system can be installed at any point in the ducting and offers two solutions:
- MFRAG: wall-mounted air distributor with aesthetic glass available in five colors, equipped with 3 meters of electric cable;
- MFRA: recessed air distributor, also supplied with 3 meters of electric cable.
The dedicated technical manual is downloadable from the official Moretti Design website.
For the correct functioning of the ducting, it is necessary to set some machine parameters:
- DUCTING DATA (M10-5)
– Enable ducting: ON to activate air distribution to secondary rooms NEW MANAGEMENT (M10-7)
- Fans: ON to enable fan control via remote control– Hot air power: OFF to disable natural convection
– Number of ducts: set to 1 for a single duct
