Introduction
The ignition of the pellet stove must only take place after verifying the general safety conditions and the correct status of the main combustion and feeding components.
Preliminary Checks
Before proceeding with ignition, check:
- presence of pellets in the hopper;
- correct positioning of the brazier;
- correct positioning of the igniter;
- cleanliness of the brazier and combustion chamber;
- complete closing of the door;
- absence of active alarms on the display.
Ignition Procedure
- Verify that the main rear switch (located on the back, near the power cable) is in the ON position.
- Turn on the stove using the remote control or emergency display.
- Wait for the igniter preheating phase.
- Check the start of the pellet loading phase.
- Check for flame formation within the expected ignition time.
- Wait for the combustion to stabilize in working mode.
Conditions for Failure to Ignite
If the stove does not start correctly:
- check the proper functioning of the ignition igniter;
- check that the brazier is not obstructed;
- verify the pellet feeding system (auger);
- check for any active alarms (e.g., SIC12);
- perform output tests from the technical menu (CAT personnel only).
Technical Notes for CAT
In case of repeatedly failed ignition attempts, avoid further consecutive restarts.
It is necessary to preliminarily check the status of the ignition and combustion system to avoid pellet accumulation inside the brazier and combustion chamber.
